We are seeking a Laundry Executive to join the Housekeeping team at Nexus Resort & Spa Karambunai. As Laundry Executive, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation of all linens, uniforms, and guest amenities throughout our luxury resort. This position is essential to delivering the exceptional guest experience that defines our hospitality offering.

What you'll be doing

• Receiving, sorting, and processing all resort linens, guest uniforms, and soft furnishings according to established protocols
• Operating and maintaining industrial laundry equipment, including washing machines, dryers, and pressing equipment
• Ensuring all items are laundered to the highest quality standards, with proper stain removal and care for delicate fabrics
• Managing inventory levels of clean linens and uniforms, ensuring adequate stock availability for all departments
• Inspecting laundered items for quality assurance, identifying and addressing any damage or defects
• Organising the distribution of clean linens and uniforms to housekeeping, front office, and other departments
• Maintaining comprehensive records of laundry operations, including item counts and turnover rates
• Adhering to health, safety, and environmental protocols, including proper handling of chemicals and waste management
• Supporting the laundry team and assisting with training when required
• Contributing to the efficient operation of the laundry department and identifying opportunities for improvement

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working in a laundry or housekeeping department within a hospitality setting, preferably in a 4-star or 5-star hotel or resort
• Strong knowledge of industrial laundry operations and familiarity with commercial laundry equipment
• Expertise in fabric care, stain removal techniques, and appropriate handling of different textile types
• Understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations specific to laundry operations
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
• Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate clearly with colleagues across departments
• Physical capability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and moving heavy items
• Reliability and punctuality with a professional work ethic
• Flexibility to work shifts as required by operational needs
