Job Title: Laundry Maintenance Technician

Job Summary

The Laundry Maintenance Technician is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of laundry equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations. The role involves performing preventive and corrective maintenance on laundry machines and related equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance of laundry equipment, including washing machines, dryers, ironing machines, steam presses, and folding machines.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and operational faults in laundry equipment.
• Conduct regular servicing to minimize equipment breakdowns and downtime.
• Inspect motors, pumps, belts, bearings, valves, electrical connections, and other machine components.
• Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with safety procedures and company standards.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, spare parts, and equipment inspections.
• Ensure proper use and storage of maintenance tools and equipment.
• Report major equipment issues and recommend solutions to improve machine performance and reliability.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Technical diploma or vocational training in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Maintenance.
• Previous experience in laundry equipment maintenance or a similar technical role is preferred.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and basic plumbing systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial laundry machines.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance procedures and workplace safety standards.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Must hold a valid Qatar Driving License.
