Laundry Operative

We are looking for a reliable and hard working Laundry Operative to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, has a keen eye for detail and can self motivate in a busy environment.

Responsibilities may include some of the following:

• Washing, drying, ironing and folding linen, towels and other laundry items
• Ensuring all linen is cleaned and presented to a high standard
• Sorting laundry and operating washing machines, dryers and ironing equipment safely
• Inspecting linen for stains, damage and general wear, reporting any issues
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised laundry area
• Following all health and safety guidelines and procedures
• Working efficiently within a small team, including some lone working

Skills/Qualities Required:

• Experience is preferred, although full training will be provided
• Excellent attention to detail
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work under pressure
• Good level of fitness
