Laundry Specialist

A Laundry Supervisor manages daily laundry operations, staff, and equipment to ensure clean linens and uniforms meet quality standards, typically in hotels, hospitals, or commercial facilities. Key duties include scheduling staff, training, inventory management, and maintaining safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Operations Management: Oversee sorting, washing, drying, ironing, and folding to ensure a smooth, efficient workflow.
• Quality Control: Inspect laundered items to ensure they meet cleanliness and quality standards.
• Inventory & Supplies: Monitor stock levels of linens, uniforms, and detergents, ordering replacements as needed.
• Equipment Maintenance: Monitor machinery (washers, dryers, irons) and coordinate with engineering for repairs to ensure minimal downtime.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce health and safety regulations, including proper use of PPE and safe lifting techniques.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
• Knowledge: Understanding of laundry machinery, chemicals, and industrial cleaning techniques.
• Skills: Strong communication, leadership, scheduling, and problem-solving abilities.
• Physical Demands: Ability to perform manual work, including lifting and standing for extended periods

Pay: Php455.00 per day
