Duties

• Operate laundry machines and equipment to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, uniforms, and guest textiles
• Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and care instructions to prevent damage or color bleeding
• Inspect items for stains, tears, or other damages and notify supervisors for proper handling
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas and ensure all equipment is functioning correctly
• Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for chemicals used in laundry processes
• Record laundry loads processed and ensure timely completion of tasks to meet operational demands
• Assist with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management when stock needs replenishing

Skills

• Previous experience in hotel or hospitality laundry services is highly preferred
• Ability to operate commercial laundry machinery efficiently and safely
• Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality cleaning standards are met
• Good physical stamina to stand, lift, bend, and move throughout shifts
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple loads and prioritize tasks effectively
• Clear understanding of safety procedures related to chemical handling and equipment use

Pay: £12.71-£13.10 per hour
