Lawn Aeration Technician (Seasonal)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 40 hours/week
Saturday: Optional additional work

About the Position

We are looking for reliable and hardworking individuals to join our team for the upcoming lawn aeration season in Edmonton.

This is a performance-based position with the opportunity to earn significantly more than the base hourly rate by completing jobs efficiently.

Compensation

You will be paid whichever amount is higher at the end of each week:

• $18 CAD per hour, or
• $15 CAD per completed house

Most residential properties can be completed in approximately 30 minutes, meaning an experienced and efficient worker can often complete 2 houses per hour and potentially earn $30 CAD/hour based on completed houses.

Your weekly pay will be calculated using whichever method results in the higher amount.

Schedule

• Monday to Friday
• Up to 40 hours per week for employees who maintain full attendance
• Saturdays are available for additional work but are optional
• Work begins Thursday, August 13, 2026

Requirements

• Valid Canadian driver's license is required
• Reliable and punctual
• Physically able to perform outdoor landscaping work
• Comfortable operating lawn aeration equipment
• Able to work independently and maintain a good pace
• Previous landscaping or lawn-care experience is an asset, but training can be provided

Pay Schedule

The first week's earnings are held and paid out during the second week of employment. After that, employees will continue to be paid according to the regular pay schedule.
