ABOUT THE POSITION

Anderson Gardens is hiring a dependable Lawn Maintenance Technician with at least one year of professional lawn-care or landscape-maintenance experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Mow residential and commercial properties using commercial equipment.
• Trim around buildings, trees, landscape beds, and other obstacles.
• Edge sidewalks, driveways, curbs, and planting beds.
• Blow grass clippings and debris from paved areas.
• Perform seasonal cleanups and general property maintenance.
• Assist with mulching, pruning, planting, weeding, and bed maintenance.
• Load and unload tools, equipment, materials, and supplies.
• Follow daily routes, work orders, property notes, and quality standards.
• Inspect equipment before use and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Keep trucks, trailers, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.
• Take required photographs and accurately document completed work.
• Identify potential property-maintenance needs and report them to the office.
• Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors, and coworkers.
• Follow all company safety procedures.
• Perform other lawn-care and landscaping duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• At least one year of professional lawn-care or landscape-maintenance experience.
• Experience using commercial mowers, string trimmers, edgers, and blowers.
• Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, rain, and changing weather conditions.
• Ability to perform physical work throughout the day.
• Ability to lift and carry up to [50] pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Dependable transportation to and from the assigned reporting location.
• Strong attendance, punctuality, communication, and teamwork.
• Careful attention to quality, safety, and customer property.

DRIVING REQUIREMENTS

• A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record are required if operating an Anderson Gardens vehicle.
• Experience driving a truck with a lawn-maintenance trailer is preferred.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience completing residential and commercial maintenance routes.
• Experience operating zero-turn and walk-behind commercial mowers.
• Basic knowledge of turf, weeds, plants, and seasonal property needs.
• Experience using mobile scheduling or field-service software.
• Interest in developing crew-leadership skills.
