About the role:

You will work across a broad range of general insurance matters, including:

• Public liability claims and product liability disputes.
• Professional liability matters.
• Broader general insurance litigation.
• Preparing strategic advice and correspondence.
• Drafting court documents and evidence.
• Managing matters from initial instructions through to resolution.
• Working directly with clients and developing strong client relationships.
• Attending mediations, conferences and court proceedings.

The ideal candidate:

• 2-6 years’ PQE in insurance litigation.
• Strong legal research, drafting and analytical skills.
• Experience managing multiple active matters.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Commercially minded with a practical approach to client advice.
• Confident dealing directly with clients and building strong relationships.
• Collaborative, proactive and capable of working with a high degree of autonomy.
• A genuine interest in continuing to build a career in insurance litigation.
