Layout Designer

ICI is looking for a Layout Designer!

We are seeking a detail-oriented Layout Artist to design clean, high-impact print and digital collateral. You will pair mastery of Adobe Creative Suite with AI generative tools to streamline editorial design.

Key Responsibilities

• Layout Design: Compose multi-page catalogues / editorial spreads, marketing collaterals using Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Prepress & Digital Prep: Prepare print-ready mechanicals (bleeds, color separations, CMYK) and optimize high-resolution assets for web and digital distribution.
• Visual Consistency: Enforce brand guidelines across typography, grids, color hierarchies, and image treatments.
• Asset Optimization: Retouching or perform image compositing, and edit generative outputs to ensure production-grade visual standards.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with copywriters, creative directors, and marketing teams to turn creative briefs into polished, export-ready layouts.

Required Qualifications

• At least 2 years of professional experience in graphic design, production design, or editorial layout.
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Hands-on experience prompt-engineering and integrating generative AI design tools into production workflows.
• Strong grasp of typography principles, grid systems, page composition, and prepress standards.
• Solid understanding of digital asset optimization (RGB, vector scaling, web export formats).

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with UI/UX layout tools like Figma
• Basic motion graphics or animation skills in Adobe After Effects
• Must be a graduate of Multimedia, Graphics and Design, or a related field.
