Job Title: LCV Technician

We are hiring a Full-Time Permanent LCV Technician to join MAN Importers Ireland Limited, Dublin 12. MAN Importers Ireland are the Importer & Distributor of MAN Commercial vehicles in Ireland. We are part of the OHM Group. We pride ourselves on providing customers with High quality Trucks and vans combined with first-class maintenance, parts and back-up, supported by a nationwide dealer network

The Role:

• Carry out all vehicle service, maintenance and repair procedures
• Diagnose faults; dismantle and reassemble the engine and its components
• Carry out a complete engine overhaul
• Use specialised equipment to check the operation of the lighting, steering, braking and other systems
• Measure exhaust emissions, record the results and liaise with the customer
• Replace various parts including timing belts and chains; clutch components; brake components; and steering and suspension components
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems
• Test electrical and electronic systems and components.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems

• Working onsite fulltime in MAN Importers, Oak Close Business Park, Dublin 12

The ideal candidate will have the following experience.

• Have main Dealer Experience with Light Commercial Vehicle
• Have a keen interest in the repair and maintenance of motor vehicles.
• Be eager to learn and stay committed to updating your technical knowledge.
• Be literate and numerate, written and spoken English.
• A full clean driving licence for driving in Ireland/EU will be a bonus.
• Show interest with working on Light Commercial Vehicles.
• Have any experience working on Volkswagen and MAN (LCV)

Salary range: 24/hr for 40hours a week
