LD Support Worker (Challenging)

ATCS require a Support Worker to work alongside our existing team to support a young woman with Moderate learning that at times struggles to control her emotions.

The shifts consist of a combination of 24hr and 19hr shifts with a sleepin element.

The role will include;

• Supporting with emotional regulation to enable the service user to remain safe and maintain her mental wellbeing
• Always encourage to be as self-managing as possible so she can maintain their independence.
• Assist with preparation, cooking, or serving of meals, to wash up and clear away afterwards.

To fulfill this role you will require;

• Good interpersonal skills
• A passion to help and care for people
• The ability to work on your own initiative
• Be required work alternative weekends
