Lead AEM Developer - BI-DBFAD

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) solutions for enterprise web platforms.
• Develop scalable and high-performance AEM applications using Java, Sling Models, OSGi services, and JCR.
• Build and customize AEM components, templates, workflows, and integrations with third-party systems.
• Collaborate with architects, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior developers.
• Manage software releases, deployments, and CI/CD pipelines using AEM Cloud Manager.
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure application stability, performance, and security.
• Participate in client discussions, provide technical guidance, and drive best practices across projects.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating emerging technologies and AEM capabilities.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Strong expertise in AEM 6.5 / AEM as a Cloud Service, Java/J2EE, Apache Sling, OSGi, and JCR/CRX.
• Experience developing AEM components, templates, workflows, servlets, and content management solutions.
• Frontend knowledge of HTL (Sightly), JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and React.js.
• Hands-on experience with AEM Cloud Manager, Maven, Git, and CI/CD processes.
• Good understanding of Dispatcher caching, performance optimization, and security best practices.
• Experience integrating AEM with REST APIs, Adobe products, and external platforms.
• Proven experience leading development teams, conducting code reviews, and mentoring engineers.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and client-facing skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
