Lead AI Architect

For our client, we are seeking a Lead AI Architect to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space.

This role will shape the technical vision for AI solutions and platforms, with a focus on enterprise architecture, governance, and scalable design. You will guide the development of reusable AI capabilities and experimentation environments that support responsible innovation. Working closely with business leaders and technology stakeholders, you will help identify high-impact use cases and translate them into practical, enterprise-ready solutions.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $191,000 – $255,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and technical direction for AI solutions and tools
• Define enterprise architecture standards for AI frameworks
• Establish standards for an AI Center of Excellence
• Guide AI lab development for experimentation and prototyping
• Operationalize AI development lifecycle practices
• Design reusable AI services and platforms
• Collaborate with business leaders to identify impactful AI use cases

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of experience in software, solution, or AI architecture
• 8+ years of experience with cloud-native solutions
• Strong programming background, preferably in Python
• Hands-on experience with AI-enabled applications and GenAI solutions
• Experience with AWS and/or Azure AI-native PaaS services
• Solid understanding of GenAI architecture patterns and AI governance considerations
