The Role
You will actively assist our senior engineers in rolling out AI-native IDEs and terminal-based autonomous agents. You will be responsible for configuring developer environments, writing workflow automation scripts, and ensuring that our AI tools operate safely within the boundaries of our internal architecture. Your day-to-day job involves building out AI capabilities and testing new features in our isolated development environments.
Objectives and Responsibilities

• Workflow Automation: Set up automated testing scripts and basic CI/CD integrations to speed up code reviews, deployment pipelines, and testing cycles across the team.
• AI Tool Setup & Configuration: Configure local developer environment files, such as CLAUDE.md and .cursorrules, to ensure AI assistants adhere strictly to our internal coding conventions and linting rules.
• Sandbox Development & Maintenance: Maintain the repositories, ensuring that all AI tools operate safely in a sandboxed environment without exposing sensitive production database records or educational data.
• Team Support: Act as the first point of contact for fellow developers adopting AI-assisted coding tools, helping them troubleshoot prompts and handle routine tasks like boilerplate generation.
• Prototyping: Build functional prototypes for upcoming platform features, such as automated administrative reporting modules and student analytics dashboards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience: 1 to 3 years of proven experience in software development, including familiarity with full-stack development methodologies.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or PHP/Node.js, alongside a solid understanding of Git version control, REST APIs, and database queries.
• AI Tool Familiarity: Practical experience utilizing AI coding tools (such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Claude CLI) to assist in daily coding, debugging, and testing.
• Problem-Solving Skills: A proactive approach to identifying issues, a strong commitment to meeting deadlines, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Reliability: Keen attention to detail and a willingness to research new developer tools and draft clear setup documentation for the wider team.

Compensation and Statutory Benefits
We offer a competitive base salary alongside all mandatory Philippine statutory benefits:

• Base Salary: ₱30,000 – ₱50,000 PHP per month.
• 13th Month Pay: Mandatory monetary benefit equivalent to 1/12 of the total basic salary earned within the calendar year.
• Social Security System (SSS): Lawful contributions for SSS coverage.
• PhilHealth: Full registration and monthly contributions for PhilHealth health insurance coverage.
• Pag-IBIG Fund: Mandatory membership and contribution remittance for housing and provident savings.
• Service Incentive Leave: Five days of Service Incentive Leave with pay for employees who have rendered at least one year of service.
