Lead AI Test Engineer

TITLE: Lead AI Test Engineer

LOCATION: College Park, GA

ANTICIPATED DURATION: From 11/23/2026 to 05/31/2027

Responsibilities:

• Own and improve quality practices for AI-enabled and traditional product areas across UI, APIs, backend services, integrations, and data-heavy systems.
• Partner with engineers and product teams to identify risk, define the right test coverage, and raise confidence in what ships.
• Build/extend test automation (modern frameworks; Playwright strongly preferred).
• Help establish and scale quality standards and repeatable approaches across teams (CoE enablement).
• Support AI feature validation—ensuring generated outputs are correct, reliable, and traceable back to source data.
• Use CI/CD signals, monitoring/observability, and production learnings to improve overall quality strategy.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of Quality Engineering experience across UI/API/integration/backend testing.
• Proven experience owning or shaping quality strategy for a product or team (not only running an existing suite).
• Strong automation experience (Playwright preferred; comparable modern frameworks acceptable).
• Experience validating complex, data-heavy workflows and tracing defects across services.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and using production signals to improve testing and quality.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience testing AI-driven features or using AI-assisted approaches for testing/evaluation (e.g., LLM-based evaluation strategies).
• Experience working in roles requiring cross-team enablement and adoption and the ability to influence without authority.

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $60.00 to $70.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
