Lead Android Developer

We are looking for an experienced Lead Android Developer to lead Android application development, manage the technical team, and deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in native Android development, Kotlin, application architecture, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of Android applications.
• Develop high-quality native Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
• Design scalable application architecture using MVVM, Clean Architecture, and related design patterns.
• Lead and mentor Android developers and conduct code reviews.
• Integrate REST APIs, third-party SDKs, payment gateways, and other services.
• Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and security.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure smooth application releases.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, QA engineers, and project managers.
• Manage technical decisions, development timelines, and delivery quality.
• Follow Android development best practices and stay updated with new technologies.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in Android application development.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• Expertise in Android SDK, Android Studio, Jetpack Compose, and Android Jetpack libraries.
• Strong understanding of MVVM, Clean Architecture, and SOLID principles.
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, Retrofit, and asynchronous programming using Coroutines and Flow.
• Knowledge of Room Database, SQLite, Firebase, and push notifications.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Strong understanding of mobile application security and testing.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience publishing and maintaining applications on the Google Play Store.
• Knowledge of automated testing frameworks such as JUnit, Espresso, and UI testing tools.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience in mentoring developers and handling end-to-end project delivery.
