Your Task

The Lead Application Developer handles all phases of software development lifecycle, provides professional support in the field of deep system analysis, technical documentation, and building related infrastructure for developed applications by prototyping and research. This role performs as lead development architect, substitutes the role of project manager in case of small or midsize software projects, and serves as professional mentor. The position holder discusses and aids the Product owners or Product managers to make sure that the development team and technologies being selected are aligned with the business' goals and vision of the company and product. The Lead Application Developer is responsible for technical project management within planning phases.

Responsibilities

• Develop new and maintain existing source code of applications
• Work in SCRUM team on developing and building complex application solutions for customer DTAG
• Serve as professional mentor for junior, medior, senior developers
• Listen to user requests, consult with internal/external customers, project managers
• Analyze customer's requirements and propose overall application/framework design of midsize application architecture, provide complex business analysis in order to build application functionality
• Provide project estimates, timeline and bug fixing and report it to customer for budget planning in advance
• Implement customer's requirements based on specification in selected object-oriented programming language into functional and user-friendly application
• Provide testing of programmed functionality before deployment to avoid bugs and ensure quality of code
• Implement security concept according to PSA policy in developed application to ensure accordance with DTAG standards
• Provide mentoring to team members
• Take part in internal evaluation processes
• Hold product responsibility from technology point of view
• Negotiate with PO/PM about technology stacks used in project

Your Profile

We are seeking a Lead Application Developer with extensive experience in software development, strong technical expertise in modern programming languages and frameworks, proven leadership and mentoring abilities, and excellent communication skills to lead complex application development projects.

Must Have Skills

• Master's Degree in Information Technologies
• Minimum 7 years of experience in ICT Systems Engineering
• Experience in Senior Application development position
• Certificate in relevant technology stack (e.g., Java OCP, .Net MCSA)
• Expert level programming skills
• Overview of hardware/software and general IT skills
• Advanced soft skills including communication
• Advanced soft skills including team cooperation
• Advanced soft skills including mentoring
• Advanced soft skills including product management
• English language proficiency at B2 level or higher
• Experience with at least one of the preferred technology stacks: Java with Spring Boot, Angular/React/VueJS, or C#

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience with testing tools or frameworks
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Experience with Docker
• Experience with Microservices architecture
• Experience with Git
• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Database experience

Salary:

• Base salary will not be lower than €4,100 gross
• Final salary is negotiable
• Base salary depends on seniority level and previous experience of candidate
• Variable part and other financial benefits provided in addition to base salary
