Lead Application Developer

App App Lead | Consumer Mobile | 4–7 Years | Bengaluru(On-site)

NeoSapien is building ambient AI that turns everyday conversations into useful memory , powered by a connected wearable and a seamless consumer app experience.

We’re looking for a hands-on App Lead to own mobile engineering alongside our CTO and Product team.

What you'll own

• Mobile architecture and technical direction
• Feature ownership from scope → production release
• Code/design reviews and engineering standards
• Reliability across BLE, background execution, audio, offline recovery and platform behaviour
• Production debugging, performance and release readiness
• Coaching engineers and building independent feature ownership
• Continued hands-on coding

What we're looking for

• 4–7 years of mobile engineering experience
• Previously led a mobile/app engineering team as App Lead, Mobile Lead, Tech Lead or equivalent
• Proven ownership of consumer products and repeated production releases
• Strong Android or iOS fundamentals
• Recent hands-on coding
• Strong architecture, async/concurrency, testing and debugging skills
• Experience coaching engineers and conducting deep code reviews
• Able to balance product velocity with engineering quality

We're particularly interested in engineers who have worked on high-scale consumer products, connected-device products or strong product/startup teams .

Important: A Lead title alone isn't enough. We want evidence of engineers led, architecture owned, production releases shipped and code still written.
