As a Lead Architect– Assurance you will oversee software and product innovation work within our Software and Product Innovation practice, focusing on software engineering solutions that support digital transformation and improve business performance. As a Manager you will lead teams, coach team members, and manage client service workstreams while bringing strategic planning, accountable decision-making, and a focus on quality and timelines to complex delivery efforts. This role offers the chance to shape architecture, guide delivery across multiple workstreams, and apply technical and business judgment in a client support environment.

In this role at PwC, you will lead the design, coding, and testing of applications, guide junior professionals through review and feedback, and help resolve issues as they arise across project phases. You will also contribute to delivery planning, support client expectations, and use technology and innovation to strengthen solutions and team performance.

Responsibilities

• Leading software architecture workstreams for assurance technology solutions and guiding delivery across client support engagements
• Designing scalable application architectures that align with software engineering needs, business requirements, and modernization goals
• Overseeing planning, budgeting, execution, and completion of architecture projects while balancing scope, timeline, and quality
• Reviewing application design, code, and testing approaches to validate technical soundness, maintainability, and alignment with architecture standards
• Developing microservices, API management, and enterprise application integration patterns that support secure and reusable solution delivery
• Applying programming languages such as Java, Python, C# .NET, JavaScript, and SwiftUI in solution design and technical problem solving
• Managing technical teams through coaching, feedback, and performance guidance to build skills and sustain delivery momentum
• Collaborating with client stakeholders to define functional requirements, refine system needs, and address architecture issues across platforms
• Promoting continuous integration, delivery automation, and software testing practices that improve reliability and reduce delivery risk
• Identifying opportunities to modernize legacy systems, improve software maintenance, and extend digital tooling across assurance technology environments

What You Must Have

• At least a Bachelor's degree
• 15 - 18 years of technology experience
• Oral and written proficiency in English required

• Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Computer and Data Engineering, Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems/Technology, Machine Learning, Management Information Systems, Software Engineering
• Demonstrating experience leading software architecture workstreams for client delivery
• Applying system analysis skills to map component interactions and dependencies
• Managing project planning, budgeting, execution, and delivery timelines

• Translating business needs into architecture decisions and delivery actions
• Navigating client conversations, issues, and ambiguity with professionalism
