Lead Architect - Luxury Development

About the role

Lead architectural design, planning, and technical oversight for villa and real estate projects. You will be responsible for conceptual design through to implementation, ensuring designs align with brand positioning, operational requirements, and market expectations while maintaining architectural integrity across the portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Lead conceptual design, schematic design, and design development for villa and real estate projects
• Review and approve architectural drawings, layouts, and specifications
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, interior designers, and consultants
• Conduct site visits to ensure design implementation accuracy
• Resolve design-related issues during construction
• Support feasibility studies and project planning for new developments
• Ensure compliance with local building regulations, zoning laws, and permit requirements
• Lead and mentor junior architects or design team members
• Present design concepts and updates to management and stakeholders
• Collaborate with Quantity Surveyor and Finance teams on cost planning

About you

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture
• Minimum 8–12 years of architectural experience
• Strong experience in villa development, luxury residential, or hospitality projects
• Experience in both new build and renovation projects
• Background in real estate development or asset management is highly preferred
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar design software
• Strong knowledge of construction detailing and building materials
• Understanding of structural coordination
• Strong leadership and project coordination skills
• Excellent design sensibility and commercial awareness
