Your Task

We are looking for a Senior Architect for T-Cloud Public who understands the latest developments in cloud and container technologies. You will work at times with T-cloud Public customers to develop business applications or to deliver T-cloud Public-focused workshops.

Responsibilities

• Solve complex problems in the daily operation of customer use-cases
• Develop and enhance customer cloud-based business applications
• Be a trusted advisor for OpenStack-based public cloud technology
• Plan and execute technical workshops at our customers' sites
• Consistently automate using common automation frameworks
• Work at the console without reservations and get your hands "dirty"
• Work in a team of specialists where everyone helps each other in an open and trusting manner

Your Profile

We are looking for a Senior Architect for T-Cloud Public with extensive experience in cloud and container technologies, strong technical expertise in OpenStack-based public cloud solutions, and excellent customer-facing skills including mentoring and presentation abilities.

Must Have Skills

• Completed studies in a technical, engineering or scientific subject or comparable professional training
• 5-7 years of professional experience in IT with a focus on modern cloud technologies
• Very good knowledge of software architectures
• Very good knowledge of cloud architectures
• Very good knowledge of container architectures
• Experience in infrastructure automation
• In-depth knowledge of Linux
• In-depth knowledge of system tools
• In-depth knowledge of network related services
• Strong customer orientation
• Knowledge of agile development processes
• Mentoring skills
• Presentation skills
• Ability to assess technical solutions
• Ability to come up with creative approaches
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Ability to work in the European Union to meet clients' data security and privacy requirements

Nice to Have Skills

• OpenStack experience
• Programming experience in OpenSource projects

Salary:

• Final salary is negotiable
• Base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate
• Variable part and other financial benefits provided in addition to base salary
• Base salary will not be lower than €2,500 gross
