Lead Architect-Technology (E-commerce / D2C / Omnichannel Architecture

Key Responsibilities

• Define enterprise and solution architecture aligned with business requirements.
• Design scalable, secure and high-performance e-commerce and D2C platforms.
• Architect integrations across e-commerce, ERP, OMS, WMS, POS, CRM, payment gateways and logistics systems.
• Drive API-led integration, microservices architecture and cloud-based solutions.
• Ensure seamless flow of customer, product, sales, order and inventory data across online and offline channels.
• Establish architecture standards, review technical designs and drive engineering best practices.
• Improve system performance, reliability, security and scalability.
• Develop a 2-3 year technology architecture roadmap and evaluate build-versus-buy decisions.
• Lead and mentor senior engineers and architects while collaborating with business and technology stakeholders.
• Evaluate technology platforms, SaaS solutions and implementation partners.

Mandatory Requirements

• 12-18 years of experience in technology architecture, software engineering or technology leadership.
• Strong experience as a Solution Architect, Enterprise Architect, Principal Architect or Lead Architect.
• Proven experience designing and implementing scalable technology architectures.
• Experience in D2C, e-commerce, retail, consumer technology or omnichannel businesses.
• Hands-on expertise in APIs, microservices, cloud architecture and distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of ERP, OMS, WMS, POS, CRM and third-party integrations.
• Experience with complex integrations and high-scale digital platforms.
• Strong technical decision-making, architecture governance and engineering leadership skills.
• Good understanding of application security, performance, scalability and system reliability.
