Job Purpose

Responsible for organization and overall operations of the Structural & Architectural Engineering department of EPC Engineering division within Safety, Quality, on Schedule and budgetary target set to support achieving overall department goals. Deliver operational requirement for all department activities as a minimum tendering, project and other as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Assume sole responsibility for assigned Architectural engineering work scopes.
• Carry out Architectural section work within a project team, supporting the project team for field development of oil and gas production facilities and renewable energies projects.
• Plan, budget, organize and control a segment of the Architectural engineering deliverables for the project.
• Prepare Architectural deliverables for all project phases of oil and gas and renewable industries.
• Ensure that all work is completed without compromise to quality and is delivered according to the project schedule.
• Provide direction and guidance on all Architectural engineering technical queries raised by either internal or external parties.
• Liaise with the Client’s Engineering, Operations and Maintenance staff as required to ensure a consistent approach to project completion.
• Promote safe behaviour at all times and demonstrate “Safety Leadership”
• Provide sound technical advice and solutions to a diversity of technical problems within the discipline
• Co-ordinate with other disciplines during all stages of design development, construction, pre-commissioning, and start-up
• Assist in the coordination of all activities related to Architectural engineering design.
• Identify any areas of concern with respect to progress and/or quality and recommend corrective actions as required
• Record the lessons learned from previous contracts in order to implement corrections in future contracts
• Plan and maintain manpower and other resources required for smooth operation of the Architectural team for project and tender execution.
• Estimate man-hours and materials for delegated aspects of work.
• Conduct Engineering audits, risk assessment and training as required.
• Prepare and reviewing engineering studies, design drawings and documents.
• Plan, organize and supervise the activities assigned to Architectural sectione subordinates to ensure that all work within a specific area / project / tender of Structural engineering activity is carried out in accordance with department and project work instructions, procedures, process manual and project specific requirements, an efficient and procedurally compliant manner.

Education

• Bachelors in civil, Structural, Architectural Engineering or equivalent.

Experience

• Minimum of 15 years relevant experience in in design office or EPC for / FPSO/ FSO/FPU/MOPU.
• Experience with performing FEED design, FEED Verification & Detail Engineering for Architectural Discipline.
• Delivered at least one 30,000MT mega project in design stage.
• Experience in Offshore HVDC projects.

Key Competencies

• Broad technical knowledge of engineering designing of Architecture in basic, detail and closeout for Offshore Renewables, FPSO/ FPU/FSO/MOPU & offshore platforms.
• Strong know how in 2GW projects in European Offshore Substation projects.
• Strong background with resolution of technical issues during projects planning and EPC execution phases.
• Project management skills.
