Lead Automotive Technician

Job Overview

We are looking for a technician with the ability to diagnose and repair all makes and models.

Must be able to properly use and understand labscopes, scanners and other diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead diagnostic assessments using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
• Perform comprehensive repairs on powertrain components including automotive suspension systems.
• Perform engine repairs, brake repairs, wheel alignments, tire services, shocks & struts replacement, and oil changes.
• Mentor and supervise technicians on best practices for automotive diagnostics and mechanical systems repair while ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Maintain detailed documentation of repairs performed using auto estimating software and ensure all work surpasses industry standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in the automotive repair industry.
• Extensive knowledge of automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostics tools.
• Hands-on experience with engine diagnostics and repairs,brake systems, suspension systems including shocks & struts.
• Ability to work efficiently with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment and mechanical repair techniques.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
• Certification or extensive experience working with asian and domestic vehicles is preferred.
• Ongoing training is required to stay current with industry advancements.

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
