Lead AV Technician

Gravity AV is a high-end AV and low-voltage contractor serving Orange County and Los Angeles. For 18 years we've designed and installed custom smart home systems for discerning clients, and we've earned our reputation by doing it right. We're growing and hiring an experienced technician to be a technician lead.

What You'll Do

• Lead a small crew of installers on residential and commercial job sites, maintaining quality and pace.
• Execute all phases of AV and low-voltage installation — prewire, rough-in, trim, and finish — across new construction, retrofit, and remodel environments.
• Run and terminate low-voltage cabling including HDMI, Cat6, speaker wire, and control wiring.
• Mount and connect displays, speakers, amplifiers, control systems, and network hardware.
• Commission and configure audio/video distribution, home theater, lighting control, and networking systems.
• Troubleshoot and service existing systems for residential clients.
• Communicate clearly with clients, your crew, and the Project Manager — and represent Gravity AV professionally on every job.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of AV or low-voltage installation experience — this is required, not preferred.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check.
• Your own hand tools.
• A high standard for your own work and the work you sign off on.
