Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Platform Engineers, providing technical direction and guidance.
• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable, highly available, and reliable AWS infrastructure.
• Partner with clients to understand requirements and deliver outcomes aligned with SoW and SLA commitments.
• Guide Agile teams on cloud architecture, migration, and infrastructure, promoting reusable solutions and best practices.
• Ensure cloud security, compliance, and operational reliability, while optimising utilisation, performance, and costs.

Requirements

• Strong production experience in AWS architecture, administration, and platform troubleshooting.
• Solid knowledge of AWS networking, security, storage, and compute, including VPC, IAM, S3, EC2, RDS, and EKS/ECS.
• Hands-on experience with AWS CodePipeline/CodeBuild and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
• Experience with shared, multi-account AWS platforms and GitOps/DevSecOps practices.
• Proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript, with sound software design and testing skills.
• Experience building distributed platforms and large-scale infrastructure for data engineering and data science workloads.
• Experience with AWS monitoring services and observability tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or Splunk.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients and cross-functional teams.

Experience & Qualifications

• 8–12 years of professional experience, including 4–6 years in AWS DevOps and/or SRE.
• B.E., B.Tech., BCA, MCA, or an equivalent qualification.
• Relevant AWS certifications: SysOps Administrator, Solutions Architect, or DevOps Engineer – Professional.
