Lead Barista

Embe Cafe is a new luxury, chef-driven fast-casual concept opening in Miami Beach, built around a prominent in-house bakery and a refined savory kitchen. Our coffee program is designed to stand apart—crafted with intention, precision, and a genuine passion for excellence inside a true high-end café.

We’re looking for a Lead Barista who is deeply versed in the art of coffee and driven to be among the best in the industry.

The Opportunity

This is the role for a high-energy coffee professional who treats every cup as a craft and holds the highest standards for quality and consistency. You’ll lead the bar, set the benchmark for excellence, and help build a coffee program that elevates the entire high-end café experience—without direct guest interaction.

What You’ll Do

• Lead daily coffee and beverage production with precision, speed, and artistry
• Craft exceptional espresso drinks, pour-overs, and signature beverages that reflect true coffee excellence
• Maintain and dial in equipment for peak performance and consistent quality
• Train, coach, and inspire the barista team to deliver the highest standards every shift
• Develop and refine drink recipes and seasonal offerings that stand out from ordinary café coffee
• Ensure flawless consistency, presentation, and execution behind the bar
• Uphold cleanliness, organization, and food-safety standards at the highest level
• Collaborate with culinary and management teams to keep the entire operation seamless

What You Bring

• Strong experience as a barista with genuine expertise in espresso, extraction, milk steaming, and coffee science
• A true passion for the art of coffee and a drive to be the best in the industry
• Proven leadership or lead experience in a high-volume or specialty coffee environment
• Excellent palate, attention to detail, and commitment to consistency
• Ability to train others, hold standards, and keep the team motivated and high-energy
• Career-minded mindset and desire to grow within a new luxury high-end café concept
