Lead Bartender

Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and experienced Lead Bartender to elevate our beverage service and create memorable guest experiences. Duties

• Lead and motivate the bartending team to deliver outstanding service, ensuring all guests feel valued and engaged
• Develop and refine beverage recipes, including cocktails, wine pairings, and craft beer selections, to keep offerings fresh and exciting
• Oversee bar operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness standards in accordance with food safety regulations
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, while managing cash handling procedures
• Train staff on proper serving techniques, responsible alcohol service, food handling, and safety protocols
• Manage guest interactions by providing personalized recommendations, resolving issues promptly, and enhancing overall customer satisfaction
• Coordinate with kitchen staff for food and beverage pairing during events such as banquets or catering functions

Qualifications

• Proven experience in bartending with a strong background in mixology, spirits knowledge, wine expertise, and cocktail creation
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience as a Lead Bartender or Bar Manager within the hospitality industry
• Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; ability to process transactions efficiently
• Extensive knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively while maintaining high-quality service
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Experience working in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or catering environments is highly desirable
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately using retail math skills; basic math proficiency required
• Knowledge of brewing processes or craft beer trends is a plus; experience with beverage recipe development is preferred

Pay: $200.00 - $500.00 per day
