Lead Bartender

Job Summary

Tiger Tom's Pub is seeking an experienced and dependable Lead Bartender to oversee beverage service while providing friendly, efficient service to guests. This role will help coordinate bartending staff, maintain a well-stocked and organized bar, handle customer needs, and support smooth operations during busy shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead bartenders and beverage-service staff during assigned shifts.
• Prepare and serve beer, cocktails, mixed drinks, and other beverages according to house standards.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and properly stocked bar area.
• Monitor beverage inventory and communicate restocking needs to management.
• Assist with opening, closing, and daily bar procedures.
• Provide guidance and support to bartenders during high-volume service.
• Monitor drink orders for accuracy, quality, and timely service.
• Handle customer questions and resolve service concerns professionally.
• Operate POS systems and process payments accurately.
• Follow cash-handling procedures and complete end-of-shift responsibilities.
• Help maintain sanitation and responsible alcohol-service standards.
• Assist with training and coaching new bartenders.
• Communicate operational issues, inventory needs, and shift updates to management.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience required; lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of beverage preparation and bar-service practices.
• Excellent customer-service and communication skills.
• Ability to remain organized and composed during busy shifts.
• Comfortable leading and supporting a team.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash-handling procedures.
• Dependable, professional, and team-oriented.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 33.0 per week
