Lead Bartender

Revolution Soccer Complex is a state-of-the-art soccer venue that offers 5v5 and 7v7 leagues, field rentals, tournaments, corporate events, birthdays, and more. We have food trucks and a full bar providing food and beverage options for after you play or for spectators, while live sports play on the TV's throughout. We are REVOLUTIONIZING the game by bringing together the latest technology to the field and providing a clean, fun and safe environment for players and their families.

SUMMARY

The Lead Bartender is responsible for implementing workflow procedures based on direction from the company’s Management Team. Their duties include overseeing bartenders during day-to-day tasks, providing customer support and service, and all ordering/inventory/policies/procedures in the workplace.

Responsibilities:

· Providing exemplary customer service

· Take beverage orders from guests and servers

· Present drink menus, make recommendations, and answer guests questions

· Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, including proper plasticware and garnish, with standard drink recipes

· Peel, slice and pit fruit for all garnishing drinks

· Maintain cans and plasticware in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation and promotion of beverages

· Take accurate orders while maximizing sales using selling techniques and product knowledge

· Prepare checks for guests

· Ensure the accurate collection of payment for all served products

· Correct and accurate execution of the POS system

· Follow all proper cash handling procedures and guidelines

· Upsell beverage items to guests

· Attempt to limit problems related to guests’ excessive drinking

· Ability to maintain a high, but well-balanced energy level throughout the entire night

· Create the bar menu including beer, wine and cocktails with influence on cocktail selection based on our clientele and demographics

· Responsible for all ordering and inventory of goods and products

· Diffuse any situations between customers and bar staff

· Maintain a fun and safe environment for patrons

· Hiring and training of all bar staff

· Help create effective schedules based on hours of operation and levels of staff needed in peak times

· Create bar policies and procedures including opening and closing procedures and best practices

· Have strong interpersonal communication skills in order to answer customer questions and address customer concerns in a warm, professional and accommodating manner

· Compliance with all TABC laws and policies

· Complete any and all assigned cleaning duties, including stocking and organization

· Ensure proper set up and break down of stations before and after operating hours

· Attend all departmental and service training seminars as requested or assigned

· Any additional responsibilities as directed by the General manager or Assistant Manager

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Lead Bartender / Bartender (minimum 2 years)
• Bilingual in both Spanish and English
• Cocktail creation experience and work knowledge of standard drink recipes
• Soccer knowledge preferred
• Strong analytical ability
• Excellent communication skills
• High School Diploma minimum
