Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Bartender to elevate our beverage service and create memorable experiences for our guests. Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the bartending team to deliver outstanding service while maintaining a lively and welcoming atmosphere.
• Oversee daily bar operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are met.
• Develop innovative beverage recipes, craft signature cocktails, and stay current with industry trends to enhance our drink menu.
• Manage cash handling, processing cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times.
• Provide training on mixology techniques, beverage presentation, and customer service excellence to team members.
• Monitor sales performance, analyze sales data, and implement strategies to boost revenue while controlling costs.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of spirits, wine knowledge, craft beer options, and beverage pairing to assist guests effectively.
• Handle guest inquiries or complaints promptly with professionalism and enthusiasm to ensure satisfaction.
• Support bar management in scheduling staff shifts, conducting performance evaluations, and fostering a positive team environment.

Experience

• Proven experience as a bartender with strong cocktail mixing skills and extensive knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and beverage recipes.
• Prior bartending leadership or supervisory experience in fine dining establishments or high-volume venues such as nightclubs or banquet settings.
• Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in busy environments while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences in hospitality settings.
• Experience in food service or restaurant environments with knowledge of food safety standards and food handling practices.
• Knowledge of bar management principles including inventory control, sales analysis, and staff training.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the hospitality industry.
