Overview
We’re hiring a Lead Bartender to run our bar program and set the standard for service behind it. You’ll craft and serve drinks, lead the bar team on shift, order liquor and bar supplies, and help design our cocktail menu. You’ll need deep beverage knowledge, strong guest service, and the ability to keep a busy bar organized and profitable. We want someone with real experience who takes ownership and cares about hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Lead the bar team during service. Set the pace, support other bartenders, and keep quality consistent on every drink.
• Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and consistency.
• Order liquor, beer, wine, and bar supplies. Track par levels, place orders with distributors, and check deliveries against invoices.
• Manage bar inventory, including regular counts, restocking, and keeping waste low.
• Design and update the cocktail menu, including new drinks, recipe specs, pricing, and seasonal changes.
• Use Toast POS for order entry, billing, menu updates, and cash handling.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional way that brings them back.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and follow cash handling procedures.
• Follow food safety rules and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Work with the team on private events and busy nights to keep service smooth.

Requirements

• 5 or more years of bartending experience. Required.
• Experience ordering liquor and managing bar inventory. Required.
• Working knowledge of Toast POS. Required.
• Experience designing cocktail menus, including recipe development and pricing. Required.
• Leadership experience, with the ability to train and guide other bartenders.
• Strong time management to handle multiple orders during peak hours.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service.
• Strong math skills for cash handling, inventory counts, and pour costs.
• Experience with xtraCHEF or similar inventory software is a plus.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 35.0 per week
