Lead Bartender

The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while providing excellent customer service. This role involves preparing cocktails, taking beverage orders, processing payments, maintaining bar inventory, and ensuring a clean and welcoming bar environment. The ideal candidate is friendly, professional, and capable of delivering efficient service in a busy restaurant setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive, and professional service.
• Take beverage orders accurately and respond to customer preferences.
• Recommend drinks and explain beverage options to guests.
• Maintain consistent beverage quality, presentation, and portion control.
• Prepare specialty cocktails, mocktails, and seasonal beverages as required.
• Operate POS systems and process customer payments accurately.
• Handle cash and card transactions responsibly.
• Verify customer identification and age when legally required.
• Follow responsible alcohol-service practices and applicable regulations.
• Monitor beverage inventory and restock supplies as needed.
• Assist with ordering spirits, mixers, garnishes, and other bar supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of bar counters, glassware, tools, and equipment.
• Wash and organize glassware and beverage-preparation equipment.
• Follow food-safety, hygiene, and workplace-safety procedures.
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
• Handle customer questions and resolve minor service concerns professionally.
• Complete opening, closing, restocking, and cleaning duties.
• Minimize beverage waste and follow proper storage procedures.
• Report inventory shortages or operational issues to the bar supervisor.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous bartending or hospitality experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, wine, and beverage preparation.
• Strong customer-service and communication skills.
• Familiarity with POS systems and payment-processing procedures.
• Understanding of responsible alcohol service and applicable regulations.
• Knowledge of bar sanitation and equipment-cleaning procedures.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy when preparing drinks.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good teamwork and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle customer requests calmly and professionally.

Pay: $23.79 - $28.65 per hour
