Lead Bartender

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Assistant Manager/Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, Nerd Culture, Board Games, and a strong understanding of food and beverage service. As a Bartender/ Manager , you will be responsible for creating an inviting atmosphere for our guests while delivering exceptional service. Your role will involve preparing and serving drinks, managing bar inventory, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. You and the General Manager will coach and train other on site staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
• Engage with customers to provide a welcoming experience, taking orders and offering recommendations.
• Manage bar inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware and utensils.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when necessary.
• Monitor guest consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible service.
• Assist in catering events as needed, providing bartending services for private functions.
• Stay updated on industry trends, drink recipes, and new products.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Bartender or in a similar role within the food service industry.
• Strong knowledge of mixology, cocktail preparation, and beverage management.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with food management practices and health regulations related to food production.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting while also managing individual responsibilities.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with guests and staff alike.
• Must be of legal drinking age as per local regulations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $8.00 - $10.00 per hour
