What they need
- Lead the overall Biomedical Engineering function, ensuring safe, reliable and uninterrupted availability of medical equipment .
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance, breakdown management, installation, commissioning, calibration and testing of biomedical equipment.
- Manage critical and high-end equipment breakdowns and coordinate with service vendors for timely repairs and maintenance.
- Monitorequipment uptime, downtime, preventive maintenance compliance and service TAT, ensuring timely closure of pending issues.
- Manage the equipment lifecycle, including acceptance, inventory, AMC/CMC, spare parts, replacement and procurement recommendations.
- Ensure accurate documentation, maintenance records, MIS, statutory compliance and audit readiness for all biomedical equipment.
- Lead, allocate and develop the Biomedical Engineering team, ensuring training, productivity and technical capability building.
