About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and organized Lead Bookkeeper to join our team. The successful applicant can expect to perform a variety of functions, including:

• Full service bookkeeping
• Monitor deadlines on a daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly basis for all members of staff to ensure all filings and deliverables are completed on schedule
• Advise and oversee data processing completed by other members of staff
• Export transactional data and format for various data analysis needs; primarily using Excel
• Executing special projects as necessary, with specific use and attention to Excel and QuickBooks Online proficiency
• Training in and operating the following key software touchstones: QuickBooks Online; Toast; MarginEdge; Fathom; Paychex

Requirements

We are looking for candidates with the following attributes:

• Accredited education in accounting, bookkeeping, or related field
• 2+ years of paid bookkeeping experience
• 2+ years of experience with QuickBooks Online; QuickBooks Certification required
• 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Office
• Direct and firm communication skills
• Organized
• Firm conviction to upholding rigorous requirements of tax law and company standards
• Able to triage and manage time effectively
• Able to work onsite: No remote hours.

The following attributes are preferred but not necessary:

• Experience with any of the other listed software touchstones

Wage and Benefits

This is a full-time, salaried position, to be paid $55,000 per annum. Additionally, the successful applicant will receive the following benefits:

• Health insurance, to be paid on a 60%/40% basis by the firm and the applicant
