Lead Business Analyst

Position Overview

A global financial services organization is seeking a Vice President, Business Analyst to support enterprise technology initiatives, including HR systems modernization. This role partners with business leaders, technology teams, and vendors to define requirements, improve processes, and deliver effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications, user stories, and process workflows.
• Assess existing processes and identify opportunities for automation and operational improvement.
• Coordinate business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors throughout project delivery.
• Support solution design, requirements validation, user acceptance testing, issue resolution, implementation, and training.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and metrics to inform business decisions and project oversight.
• Recommend technology and process improvements while supporting delivery through Agile and traditional project frameworks.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Human Resources, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• At least seven years of business analysis experience supporting enterprise technology initiatives.
• Experience gathering requirements, mapping processes, designing workflows, and managing stakeholder relationships.
• Experience with HR technology platforms and enterprise implementations, HR systems transformations, or digital modernization projects.
• Knowledge of the software development lifecycle, Agile methodologies, and project delivery practices.
• Experience with UAT, system deployment, training, and change management.
• Familiarity with enterprise integrations, HR operations, workforce management, or employee lifecycle processes.
• Proficiency with analysis and reporting tools such as Excel, Visio, JIRA, Confluence, Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent applications.
• Experience with data analysis, business intelligence, reporting, and dashboard development.
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and collaborate across organizational levels.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, Oracle HCM, or comparable HR applications.
• CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile Analysis Certification (AAC), or a similar credential.
