Shacks builds premium cabins and is expanding its production team. We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on Team Lead for assembly of Cabins. You’ll organise the daily work, guide the team and take ownership of build quality from start to finish.

The role

• Read drawings, specifications and assembly instructions, and turn them into a clear daily plan.
• Carry out skilled assembly, fitting and finishing work while demonstrating the right methods to the team.
• Check measurements, alignment, fixings and finishes throughout the build, correcting issues before work moves on.
• Identify missing materials, drawing queries or build problems early and raise them with the production lead.
• Maintain a safe, organised work area and ensure tools and materials are used correctly.
• Help improve the assembly process by sharing practical feedback from each build.

About You

• Solid background in joinery, carpentry, modular building, manufacturing or related technical construction trades.
• Proficient at reading technical diagrams and operating manual and electric tooling with precision.
• Focused on high standards, paying close attention to detail and delivering refined workmanship.
• Capable of directing crew members, providing clear instructions and mentoring junior colleagues.
• Methodical and reliable, with sharp problem-solving skills to maintain progress on site.
• Prior background with prefabricated units or timber frame assembly is helpful, but we value strong craftsmanship, good sense and leadership ability above all.
