Overview

We are seeking a skilled, detail-oriented Lead Cabinet Maker to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will craft and strategically assemble custom cabinetry with precision, lead project production, transforming complex shop drawings and digital files into custom pieces. Great candidates see the big picture, stay proactive, collaborate tightly with the team, and finish every job with quality and care.

Responsibilities

• Shop & Team: Direct daily team activities, partner to keep projects on schedule.
• Fabrication & Assembly: Construct, assemble, and fit custom cabinets and furniture to shop drawings and specifications.
• Machinery & Tools: Safely operate woodworking machinery (saws, jointers, planers, line borers) and shop CNC equipment. Planning and following maintenance schedules, delegating tasks to the team.
• Precision Hardware & Detailing: Mill wood, sand surfaces, install hardware (hinges, pulls, slides), and prep assemblies for finishing.
• Quality Ownership: Inspect materials and assemblies to ensure work consistently meets River Woodcraft's standards.
