Lead Calypso Solutions Developer

For our client, we are seeking a Lead Calypso Solutions Developer to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.

This role will lead the design and development of scalable solutions within a capital markets technology environment, with a strong emphasis on trade lifecycle processing and platform optimization.

You will partner closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to define requirements, solve integration challenges, and deliver configuration-first approaches that improve performance and usability.

In addition, you will provide technical leadership and mentoring while helping drive collaboration, quality, and continuous improvement across the team.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $116,400 – $194,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable platform solutions across business functions
• Optimize platform functionality and review team members' solutions
• Serve as the technical leader for the platform, mentoring team members
• Facilitate collaboration with stakeholders to define technical requirements
• Conduct gap analysis and recommend configuration-first solutions
• Drive integration efforts with various types of solutions
• Lead system management and performance monitoring initiatives

Qualifications

• Associate's degree and 7 years of relevant tech experience, or Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant tech experience, or 9 years of equivalent experience
• Expert proficiency in at least one technology platform
• Hands-on expertise with a fintech platform
• Experience in capital markets technology and trade lifecycle processing
• Strong skills in Java, SQL, and enterprise application design patterns
