Lead Canning Line Operator

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Canning Line Operator to oversee the efficient operation of our high-speed canning lines within a vibrant beverage manufacturing facility. Duties

• Lead and supervise the daily operations of the canning line, ensuring smooth and efficient production flow
• Coordinate team activities, assign tasks, and provide training on equipment operation, safety procedures, and quality standards
• Monitor equipment performance, troubleshoot mechanical issues promptly, and coordinate maintenance with technical teams to minimize downtime
• Enforce strict sanitation practices in compliance with HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) standards to ensure food safety
• Oversee material handling processes, including manual handling and operation of material handling equipment such as forklifts
• Conduct quality assurance checks throughout the production process to meet food industry standards for beverage manufacturing
• Maintain accurate documentation of production logs, safety reports, and quality records while adhering to safety protocols in all activities

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating manufacturing equipment within a food or beverage production environment, preferably in brewing or craft beer industries
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot machinery issues effectively
• Familiarity with sanitation procedures, HACCP, CGMP, and food safety regulations
• Experience with packaging processes and beverage production workflows
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate material handling equipment including forklifts
• Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality assessments
• Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising or leading teams in a manufacturing setting
• Knowledge of industrial chemical handling and safety standards in production environments
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on teamwork and safety compliance

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
