Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead carpenter to oversee and coordinate complex construction projects, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on site. As the leader of our construction team, you will perform carpentry duties, manage daily operations, supervise skilled tradespeople, and ensure projects are completed on time and within scope. Your expertise in residential remodeling disciplines will drive successful project execution. Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise construction crews in the installation of residential remodeling projects.
• Interpret and implement construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings accurately to guide project progress.
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, and clients to ensure project specifications are met efficiently.
• Oversee the proper use of hand tools and power tools to maintain safety standards and productivity.
• Manage daily site activities including material handling, dimensional measurements, trim carpentry, and restoration efforts.
• Enforce safety protocols on-site while promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction management with a focus on demo, framing, and finish carpentry.
• Strong knowledge of interpreting technical drawings and construction plans.
• Skilled in blueprint reading, dimensional measurements, tape measure proficiency, and basic math skills.
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and carpentry techniques such as trim carpentry and frame carpentry.
• Ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining high safety standards; previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate multiple trades and interpret technical instructions clearly.

Pay: $34.00 - $40.00 per hour
