Duties

• Lead and supervise carpentry crews, providing clear direction and mentorship to ensure efficient workflow and quality workmanship
• Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute projects
• Perform and oversee metal building erection, framing, drywall installation, trim carpentry, roofing, siding, stucco, and masonry work
• Manage concrete forming, rebar installation, concrete finishing, plastering, and restoration tasks with precision
• Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely while maintaining equipment in optimal condition
• Coordinate with project management on scheduling, material procurement, and resource allocation to meet project deadlines
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, building codes, and industry standards at all times

Skills

• Extensive experience in construction site management with a strong background in carpentry disciplines including frame, trim, drywall, roofing, siding, and metal stud framing
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and interpreting construction plans accurately
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and performing dimensional measurements with precision
• Knowledge of metal building erection techniques and concrete forming processes
• Ability to operate heavy machinery safely for lifting and site preparation tasks
• Strong understanding of rebar installation, concrete finishing techniques, masonry work, plastering, and stucco application
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating teams and interpreting technical instructions effectively
• Basic math skills necessary for accurate measurements and calculations on-site
• Demonstrated leadership qualities with experience managing construction teams or projects from start to finish
