We are looking for an experience in carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interior and exterior rough and finish faming and carpentry. You will be able to accurately measure, cut, and assemble materials to create high-quality finished products.

Our ideal candidate has their own truck for transportation.

A key quality to this role will be a leader in their role and be able to share that knowledge with other team members and guide them in finishing projects efficiently and efectively. The successful candidate will also have a keen eye for detail and be able to work with a variety of materials. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to hone their craft and develop their skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Leadership qualities and initiative
• Team builder
• Measure and cut wood to specified sizes and shapes.
• Assemble wood pieces to form structures and objects.
• Install trim, molding, and cabinets.
• Install doors, windows, and other fixtures.
• Sand and finish surfaces to a smooth finish.
• Use power tools such as saws, drills, routers, sanders, etc.
• Selecting lumber by size and strength to suit each job, sourcing wood to suit the customer’s budget and style
• Calculating the number of fasteners required for each job
• Liaising with clients, suppliers and other construction professionals
• Reading blueprints and designs to work to specifications prepared by other construction professionals, architects and building code recommendations
• Preferably has HIC or CSL

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
