Lead Carpenter

We are looking for a highly motivated experienced lead carpenter. Candidates will work in both construction and renovation of residential and commercial building. Facelift Remodeling Inc. is a home remodeling company focused on high-end renovations and additions in the Hagerstown and Frederick, MD areas, Martinsburg WV, and up to Chambersburg PA. We work mainly in the Hagerstown, MD area. We work heavily in the commercial and Cannabis industry. Facelift started in 2007 and has grown every year. And looking for a WORKING LEAD Carpenter. Someone who wants to grow with the company without having to run down to the city for decent pay.

MUST HAVE:

• Be someone who takes great pride in the quality of their work and always strives to improve.
• Must be able to read blueprints but have the ability to adjust when necessary.
• Be able to manage a project independently and lead other team members.
• Possess excellent communication skills when interacting with homeowners, project managers, subcontractors, and other team members.
• Must be honest, and value Facelift property as it was their own.
• MUST HAVE RELAIBALE TRANSPORTATION
• MUST be dependable and on time
• We don't do the "Oh it's raining, let's go to the bar" 40 hours a week is what we look for.
• TEAMWORK is #1. Must be able to work with all employees.
• 10 years construction with at least 2 years Lead experience.

Your Construction Skills Should Include:

• Managing projects, reading blueprints and understanding contracts.
• Supervising 1-4 other carpenters, subs, and laborers
• Demo without destroying
• Knowledge of building a house from the ground up. AND EVERYTHING IN THE MIDDLE.
• Determining the most cost effective way to do a project.
• Must be able to frame a house, or commercial space
• Job cleanliness and safety
• Coordinating effectively with office and subs to get the job done.
• Trim carpentry & cabinet installation is a must
• Tile experience is a must.
• Drywall, masonry, concrete experience is a must
• Must have own tools. We provide all large tools. But all hand tools are a must.
• Equipment knowledge is a must and able to have DOT. We run all forms of heavy machinery to get the job done.
