Lead Carpenter

Clark Builders specializes in residential remodeling in the Columbus area. We are looking for a qualified Lead Carpenter to join our team.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

Planning and Execution:

• Supervise, coordinate, and oversee the daily work activities of a crew of 1 to 2 employees.
• Read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and specifications to delegate/complete work activities.
• Perform carpentry and/or other construction skills such as demolition, framing, basic HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drywall, finishing, painting, flooring, windows and door installation, handyman work.
• Work efficiently to meet project deadlines and budget goals.
• Work and coordinate with different trades throughout the project timeline.

Professionalism and Leadership:

• Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and trade partners.
• Cultivate a professional atmosphere on the job site.
• Be respectful of client's property.
• Maintain a neat appearance.
• Be self-motivated to solve problems and be willing to learn.
• Maintain accountability and consistency.
• Participate in the onboarding and training of various crew members.

Safety and Quality:

• Adhere to safety and quality standards.
• Maintain a safe and clean job site.
• Maintain and care for equipment.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 8 years of carpentry experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
• General knowledge of International Residential Building Codes.
• Tools required: basic hand tools, power tools (drills, saws, nail guns, compressors, etc.)
• Reliable vehicle able to transport tools and supplies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $42.50 per hour
