Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure precise execution of custom timber and deck projects.
• Lead on-site construction of custom decks, saunas, pergolas, timber structures, and fine architectural finishes with precision.
• Frame, form, and execute complex structural woodwork and exterior envelope details.
• Stage materials, maintain site flow, and direct a skilled labourer on prep and task sequencing.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work site adhering to WorkSafeBC standards at all times.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 5+ years of hands-on residential carpentry experience (framing, custom decks, timber work, and finish carpentry).
• Tools: Your own complete set of reliable hand and cordless carpentry power tools.
• Transport: Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle capable of transporting gear.
• Skills: Expert knowledge of framing, finishing, joinery, and plan-reading.
• Work Ethic: Punctual, reliable, drama-free, proactive, and takes genuine pride in clean craftsmanship.
