Lead Carpenter Foreman

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Carpenter Foreman to oversee and manage all aspects of residential and small commercial construction projects from start to finish. This role is vital in ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, technical expertise in carpentry and construction management, and a passion for delivering exceptional results. As a Lead Carpenter Foreman, you will coordinate teams, interpret technical drawings, and ensure compliance with safety regulations while fostering a collaborative work environment that drives project success. Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise carpentry crews on multiple construction sites, ensuring work is performed efficiently, safely, and according to project specifications.
• Review blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to interpret project requirements accurately.
• Manage daily site operations, including material procurement, crew assignments, safety protocols, and quality control measures.
• Oversee safety compliance by enforcing OSHA standards and federal construction safety regulations across all job sites.
• Collaborate with project managers to develop budgets, monitor costs, and manage contracts effectively.
• Facilitate communication among management teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
• Review construction drawings and technical documents for accuracy; supervise blueprint reading sessions with team members.

Requirements

• Proven experience in heavy commercial construction projects with a minimum of several years in supervisory roles such as foreman or lead carpenter.construction
• Extensive hands-on experience in blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and managing construction schedules.
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively while maintaining high safety standards on-site.
• Excellent communication skills for clear management reporting and crew supervision; ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders seamlessly.
• Familiarity with federal construction safety regulations and OSHA standards; commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Skilled in supervising electrical testing procedures using tools such as Ohmmeter; knowledgeable about quality control processes.
• Ability to manage budgets efficiently while overseeing project timelines; experience with contracts and managing subcontractors preferred.
• Construction site experience in commercial or industrial settings; knowledge of pipeline projects is a plus.

Pay: $25.00 - $55.00 per hour
