What they need
Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Lead Chef in our family run residential care home. Catering for 18 residents. Working 9am to 5pm with half an hour unpaid lunch Monday to Saturday, 9am to 4pm with half an hour lunch on Sundays. Working a 5 day week.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of food production, including menu planning, ingredient sourcing, and portion control
- Manage food safety protocols diligently, ensuring compliance with health regulations and sanitation standards
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage waste to optimize kitchen efficiency
Experience
- Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations
Pay: £13.40-£14.20 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
Work Location: In person
