What You’ll Do

• Lead key product development initiatives end-to-end: decomposition → implementation → testing → release → monitoring key metrics
• Make architectural decisions that directly impact development speed and system reliability across APIs, databases, caching, and integrations
• Improve service performance and reliability, including latency, error rates, incident handling, and release predictability
• Strengthen engineering practices, including code review, coding standards, testing, CI/CD, and observability
• Provide mentorship and technical leadership within the engineering team
• Use Claude Code as a core development tool for codebase analysis, multi-file changes, running commands and tests, and validating whether a task is truly production-ready

Must-Have Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial software development experience with ownership of production outcomes
• Strong systems thinking, including service architecture, data management, performance, and reliability
• Ability to write tests and build a reliable, verifiable delivery process using CI/CD
• Claude Code expertise: hands-on experience with Anthropic’s Claude Code or a comparable agentic coding workflow
• Strong communication and ownership mindset, with the ability to drive tasks through to completion

Nice to Have

• Experience with marketplaces, travel products, high-load systems, or conversion-focused features
• Experience mentoring and developing engineers
• Experience building observability systems using metrics, logs, and traces, as well as establishing strong incident-management practices

What We Offer

• Work format: remote, hybrid, or office-based — negotiable
• Full-time employment, 5/2 schedule, with flexible starting hours available by agreement
• Salary range: from 1000 € up to 3000 €net per month, depending on the level of responsibility and interview results. The range is based on current market benchmarks and comparable roles on hh.ru

KPIs for the First 3 Months

• Improve delivery speed within the assigned area, including lead time and release predictability
• Reduce defects and incidents across critical user journeys, including search, bidding, and booking
• Introduce and establish AI-native development practices with strong quality control, including the use of Claude Code

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From 4,000.00RON per month
